- Onyx Storm (Rebecca Yarros): ★★★★★
  - Mostly annoyed because I thought this was a trilogy and all the answers I wanted weren't answered by the end - only more questions! Otherwise great, apart from the chapters that jump from one place to another quickly; I'd have enjoyed more time exploring those places but it isn't that kind of book/series. Now to wait for the fourth book...
- The Thursday Murder Club (Richard Osman): ★★★★☆ (audiobook)
  - A very slow start which made me nearly stop listening. Only really got hooked many hours in but once I was I enjoyed it a lot - great characters (though maybe too many?). I don't think I'll approach the second book.

- Iron Flame (Rebecca Yarros): ★★★★★
  - I enjoy epic fantasy books, and whilst this may not quite be in the epic category it did capture a lot of the world building and magic elements I love. The romance was a bonus sprinkle on top, and it was done well; the characters in the couple and their love are well built
- Fourth Wing (Rebecca Yarros): ★★★★☆
  - Interesting setting, intense romance (first I'd read any kind of romance book). Enjoyed that there was substance to the fantasy world rather than it all being romance as I thought it might
